How Do I Qualify?

If you are 18 years old or older, are HIV positive, and have not been treated with anti-HIV medications, our research study may interest you.

On this study, you will receive either an investigational drug in the class called HIV integrase inhibitors or an FDA approved anti-HIV drug called efavirenz (Sustiva®).

These will be combined with two additional FDA approved HIV medications in the class called nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTI). If you receive the investigational drug, you will take one of 3 different strengths or doses.

There are about 17 scheduled patient visits over 96 weeks, or almost 2 years. Study participants may receive study-related examinations, study-related blood work, and research medication at no cost.
